Simple Pleasures. . . This definately goes on my list of what I love about living with a 2 year old... "Squeal" (squirrel) watching from her window perch in her jammies (at least half of them). What's on your list?

What I love about living with a 2 year old... I love it when I hear Kayla singing the "Hide 'Em In Your Heart" DVD songs (all Scripture) in her room. I want to peek in every time, but I don't want her to see me. I can picture it anyway, though -- she is sitting on the single bed in her room with her little New Testament open "reading" her Bible. Then, she prays a very short, simple prayer that always brings a smile to my face.
I love hearing things finally come together for her....She is understanding letter sounds and how they start words. She is getting so excited!
Two year olds are so much fun. They are learning so much and so quickly. There are so many things I can say about two year olds and the blessing and joy they are to have around. Terrible twos...no way!Loved hearing Morgann singing songs the way she heard them...not always the right words, but they ended up really cute.
I love that Ethan sometimes has no idea what he is saying. ie: "I'm Buzz Lightyear - to inn-inn-a-tee and ee-onne!"
For some reason, Jack woke up at 4am this morning!!! Ugh...so after changing a surprise messy diaper and putting him back down I lied in my bed trying to drift back to sleep. I heard him settle down and then start singing...really & truly singing (without words, of course). I was sooo tempted to record it but I knew it would distract him. So I just layed there and soaked in the sweet memory!!!
We just got back from our first real mini vacation away from the kiddos. As wonderful and relaxing as it was.. I found myself missing those sweet little moments so much. Back to reality... but it's a great reality! Thanks all for sharing!
