We Survived!

This is pretty much all that hurricane Ernesto amounted to here in our neck of the woods. I took this picture from the window of our apartment complex (no, don't try to picture all the stairs one must climb in order to live at this altitude). I love a rainy, overcast day every now and then. It was a perfect day to sit, read, blog, plan, and eat warm bread pudding! We thank the Lord for sparing us from a more severe hit from the storm and for blessing us with a much needed day of rest!

Glad to hear my dear! I prayed you'd be safe! How did my Olivia survive? I hope she faired well for her first "big" storm...Alex too! But, a lil' rain never hurt a "desert rat" :) lol Tell Alex that his lil' sis misses him! I miss just having GOOD friends to talk with...speaking of, we need to make a phone date sometime. I miss being able to reach you:(

Well, I am extremely tired and ready for bed, so I should get. It was a very LONG and thankfully BUSY week. The office has been nuts lately and I worked at CFA twice already. But, thankfully (PTL) I have 3, yes friend-3, FULL days off of work!! Whoo-hoooo! Too bad our revival services fall in the time of that:(

Love ya friend!
Dana

Bread pudding...mmm! Have you ever had Old Country Buffet's bread pudding...I haven't been there in years (Rob doesn't classify it as a real restaurant), but they have the world's best bread pudding.

Hey Carissa! I'm starting to slow down a bit, my back started hurting today, BUT tonight I am going to lay my aching body down for the flip this house marathon :) (after church of course :) Yeah! I love it when your aches and pains coordinate with a fav. show :)

I LOVE eating bread pudding at those buffets! That and any cobbler they might happen to make that day. Its one of those things I get so excited about-- but I forget to just make it myself. MMMM-- and it's so good reheated :)

I Love that show! Flip This House! The Marathon was great and gave me a break from watching baseball and football on Sunday night! :-)
